Since our successful launch of the RADAR/ACC-compatible VW LED emblem line in 2024, we have continually innovated. We released the 3.5th Generation at the end of 2024, and in early June 2025, we proudly introduced the significantly upgraded 4th Generation VW LED Emblem

Similarities (What Remains the Same)

  • Both generations maintain a similar overall visual design.
  • Each is available in two distinct styles: the Line Style and the Full Illuminated Style

Key Improvements in the 4th Generation

The 4th Generation Dynamic VW LED Emblem represents a substantial improvement over its predecessor, focusing on stability, durability, and simplified installation.

1. Enhanced Design: Flatter Back Plate

  • The 3.5th Generation featured 3mm–5mm protrusions on the back.
  • A key upgrade in the 4th generation is the elimination of these protrusions. The back plate is now completely flat, resulting in a cleaner and potentially more seamless installation.

2. Superior Brightness

  • The 4th Generation delivers a significantly brighter illumination output compared to the standard illumination of the 3.5th Generation.

3. Advanced Waterproofing (Increased Durability)

  • While the 3.5th Generation used standard machine-based waterproofing, the 4th Generation benefits from meticulous, human-made waterproofing
  • This hands-on approach provides a more reliable and effective seal, ensuring greater durability and longevity against the elements. We adopted this method after seeing its superior performance in our 2nd Generation Audi LED emblem.

4. Simplified Installation (Effortless Wire Routing)

  • The 3.5th Generation used a bulky plug that complicated wire threading, occasionally requiring customers to remove the radar.
  • The 4th Generation introduces a redesigned connection method using pins instead of a large plug. This simplifies wire routing and eliminates the hassle of navigating large plugs through tight spaces. (This is why we switched to pins—to avoid forcing our customers to remove the radar for installation.)

5. Dynamic New Animations

  • The 3.5th Generation lit up directly without any special effects.
  • The new 4th Generation elevates the visual experience with a simple yet captivating animation: it lights up, flashes three times, and then remains steadily illuminated.

6. Stronger Clips

  • The clips of the 4th Generation VW LED Emblem have been slightly reinforced, making them stronger and more secure than those used on the 3.5th Generation.

In conclusion, we spent about six months upgrading the 4th Generation VW LED Emblem. We identified and corrected the weaknesses of the 3.5th Generation to deliver a superior product in every critical area, from design and durability to ease of installation.
